RETARDANT POLYURETHANE CYCLE
When talking about the regulations for fire prevention, Italy has always been in the foremost position in Europe (and perhaps in the entire world). When these regulations regard wooden products - an extremely inflammable material - at this point it becomes almost impossible to put the world 'protection' together with the word 'appearance'. Considering that these products are destined to be used in hotels, banks, cinemas, and businesses open to public, their appearance is extremely important. As this is where the experience of our formulators has met the needs of woodworkers. The result is a varnishing cycle which makes it possible to achieve, while fully complying with current Italian regulation on the matter (DM 6/3/1992), a wood article which appears to be totally identical to that treated with a non-fire retardant product. The cycle can be developed with traditional application methods, thereby permitting also small businesses to achieve the maximum in protection with the minimum of effort.
